A Unique Experience:—A wellknown farmer in this district had a rather unique experience recently whilst fording Deep Creek, on' the road to Stronscrubie Station.. The creek was deeper than usual, and but for the fact that his car was a Ford, the practically waterproof car, he would certainly not have attempted the journey. Ho says: " I stopped up the main oilhole or breather pipe in the engine, tied a tent over the radiator, and put her at it. She fairly Bwam through, but came out all right. The water was over the bonnet and wings, and I had to be .pretty qtiiclc to rescue some parcels in the car from getting spoilt with, water. In my oninion there is no ear like ■tho Ford." V 0 0
