CONDITIONS AT ACHI BABA.
COLONIALS HOLDING UP 30,000 TURKS.

MALTA, July 30. Australian wounded, describing the situation at Gab a Tepe state that the Australians and New Zealanders are still holding up 30,000 Turks, who are disinclined to renew the attempt to throw them into tho sea. , The Turks are now acting on the defensive. Sapping continues unceasingly at Achi Baba, and in this the colonials invariably beat the Turks. The whole of Achi Baba bristlos with guns, which disappear as fast as they arc fired.
