AN APPROPRIATE RESOLUTION

LONDON, July 30. Many meetings are being arranged to be held in provincial towns on August 4, to pass a resolution affirming the determination to carry on the war to a successful finish.

The Official Press Bureau states that now that the Ministry of Munitions is fully established, Sir Percy Girouard has resumed the directorship of Arm* strong and Whitworths. Thirty coppersmith at the Fairfield shipyard are being prosecuted before the Munitions of^War tribunal for striking over a dispute with plumbers. This is the first prosecution under the Munitions Act in Scotland.
