ANOTHER STEAMER SUNK.
LONDON, July 29, The steamer Merkara, laden with iron ore from Bilboa for West Hartlepool, was silnk. It. is supposed that she was torpedoed. Her crew had just time to jump into the water, from which - passing vessels rescued them.
