Tin iirst totalisator meeting of the Waimate Hunt Club was hold this afternoon, in beautiful weather. There was a large attendance. Results: —

Wuecliffs Steeplechase, of £35 10s (including cup given by the Hon. U. 11. Rhodes): two miles- and a quarter — Craig Dugaid 1. Clco 2. Toby 3. Also started: Krithia and Mountain Peer. Time., 4min 88 l-ssee..
Waihao Mack Handicap, of 25 soy Aerial 1, Tlv:> Spike 2. St. Head 3. Also started . C'araid Dileas. Moneymaker. Craig -Athol. Roumo, and Teliuji. Tone. Imin 18 2-oso-c.
