In the Assembly, during the discussion on the Temporary Restrictions Bill, the Premier said that there seemed to be a general agreement that some curtailment of hotel hours wob required. If the hours were curtailed, people should be unable to get drim;. elsewhere when the hotels were closed. TheJSovernment therefore wo\ild submit "an Amendment, prohibiting anyone, except the occupier, his family and servants, drinking on unlicensed premises between 9.30 at night and 9 in the morning.
