Mr Hill, secretary of tho Rugby Union, has received a letter from MiMarriott, secretary of the English Rugby Union, stating that over 90 por cent, of tho English players had gone to tho front. Evory international player of. the last throe years had joined the forces, and news from Vancouver indicates that 75 per cent, of the players had enlisted. Locally, over 50 per cent, of the players have. volunteered.
