Easy Win for Visitors,
A representative cricket match betweeri Ashburton County and the City and Suburban Cricket Association, of Christchurch, took place in the Ashburton Domain yesterday. The visitors won by 142 runs and one wicket, each tcaon playing 12 men. S. Garforth was top scorer for Ashburton, whilst for the Christchurch team Griffen succeeded in knocking up 99, when he was clean bowled by Ockleshaw. Following are the scores:— Ashburton. J.
