TIMARU, January 1. A match of 15 rounds for the professional light-weight championship and a purse, of £40, between W. Shutt (Timaru, ex-amateur Australasian champion 1913) and P. Cook (Taumarunui, present holder), was decided to-night.- Cook won easily on points. Other bouts were decided as' follow: Bantam—H. Gunn beat V. Kerr (Christchurch) easily.
