WELLINGTON, December 17. Cable advice was received by the Defence headquarters to-day of the deatli of Private John Archibald Campbell, of the Wellington Infantry Battalion, at the Abbassia Hospital, on the evening of December 14. Deceased, who was 27 years of age, was a horse-driver, and came from Napier. His nexi>of-kin is Donald Campbell, Wellesley Road, Napier. ;
