RIGHT OF SEARCH GIVEN UP. (Received December 17, 8.50 a.m.) i WASHINGTON, December 16. Sir Cecil Spring-Rice announces that Britain will forego her right of search of vessels from American ports if the masters satisfy the Cansuls at the ports of departure as to the character of the cargoes.
