18 KILLED AND 100 WOUNDED AT SCARBOROUGH.
(Received December 17, 12.40 p.m.) NEW YORK, December 16. Apparently the raid was made by two or three fast German cruisers, which dropped shells on towns along a 40-nrUe stretch of coast and then disappeared in a. fog. Scarborough alone reports 18 killed and 100 injured.
