This property is essentially a sheep property, there being no need for the plough to be used except perhaps for the purpose of growing a little oats for horse feed on some of the rich flats. It contains 12,700 ACRES, and is subdivided into 30 paddocks by splendid new fences. It is situated 30 miles from Wairoa on good motor car road. Every paddock is watered by permanent streams. Two small rivers flow through the property (well stocked with trout). The country is hilly with well grassed slopes. ;: About 2000 acres have been heavy bush country, and this together with about 6000 axjres that has been heavy fern-and tutu,, is now in the best of English grasses.' From 300Q, to 4000 fat sheep will be got away bjr March, also Fat Cattle and Chill Ewes. The Sheep are all young, none being over 8-tooth, and 12,000 wore bred on the place. The wool, 232 bales has just been sold at 10§d fleece, B|d bellies, ssd pieces and locks. . • IMPROVEMENTS AND PLANT.
