NEWS OF THE CORMORANT.
INTEKNED AT GUAM. (Received December 16, 12.40 p.m.) WASHINGTON, December 15. The Navy Department has learned officially of the arrival at Guam of the German converted cruiser Cormorant. The- commander was notified by the United States harbour authorities there that he" must leave within 24 hours or be interned. The Cormorant's whereabouts have been unknown since she left-:. Kiao jchau. As it is improbable that the
vessel will be able to secure sufficient coal to take her to the nearest German port, it is ■•likely' she will be interned. (Received December 16, 2 p.m.) WASHINGTON, December 15. The German converted cruiser Cormorant has decided to intern at Guam.
