Conditions w.epe^ ..deaided.ly against, good bags oF^fisli'ih the ' Ashburtonl County rivers during the week-end. All were very /dirty \ as.,the result of a fresh, and those,anglers who ventured to try their luck found that, for the time being, .at all eyeiits, there was " nothing doing;" the largest bags being just over a dozen. The Ashburton , and Ilakaia rivers' were reported to be dirty to-day. No: report was received from the' Rangitata. ■/ '■;.. ■ •" ■
