THE KARLUK'S FATE.
/CRUSHED IN THE ICE
(Received May 30, 2 p.m.) •:NEW YORK, May 29. The exploring, ship Karluk was crushed in the ice in January. The crew' were marooned on Wrangel Island, but their fate is not known, according to private messages received! through letters from sailors on Arctic vessels.
