REFORM CANDIDATE FOR MOTUEKA.
NELSON, 28. A conference was held at Mbtueka to select a Reform candidate for the Motueka seat. Forty-two delegates were present, representing all parts of the electorate. The six candidates all agreed to abide by the decision of the meeting. After, three hours'/deliberation,- Mr R. P. Hudson, president of the New Zealand Fruitgrowers' -Association, was chosen to contest the! seat. The gathering is considered unique in the, history of the Dominion.,
