At Niagara Falls good progress is being made in the negotiations, and. it is expected that a peace protocol will be signed within a week. \ The - delegates attended a garden party the Duke of Connaught gave at Toronto. It is understood that only internal questions are now under discussion, and there is a likelihood that these i will be disposed of by a series of recommendations to the incoming Provisional Government.
