GREYMQITTH, March 16. The Supreme Court opened this morning before Mr Justice Denniston, who said that there were ho serious charges to answer. The jury returned no bill in the case of Francis Mikoz, charged with an unnatural offence. Vida Upton pleaded guilty to two charges of forgery of post-office savings bank slips for £10 and £15. Counsel for the defence applied for probation, and his Honour deferred sentence in order that further inquiry might be ( made. William Cowan McNeill, charged with stealing a quantity of liquor from the Otira Hotel, was found not guilty. Edward Basil Wilson, charged with robbery with violence, was convicted, and sentenced to two years' imprisoni The Court adjourned till Wednesday.
