The entries for the New Zealand lawn tennis championships,' to be held. at Auckland at the end of the month, hite proved very satisfactory. Mr R. N. X. Swanston will defend the title to the singles championship, but the lal'es' doubles champions, Misses Hart gill pikl Travers, are unable to - make the* trip. The number of- entries is as follow;:, — Ladies' Doubles, .6; Ladies' Singles, 11; Combined Doubles.' 11; Men's Singles, 31; Men's Doubles,' 18.
