It is understood that the coal minemanagers intend to take steps to open early in January those mines which a have been closed during tho past few weeks, as-tho result of tho strike) and ■ that only those men who are prepared •. to work under an industrial agreement ,'■ or an Arbitration Court award will be ■ employed.
