An interesting incident occurred at the E. and A. Mail Company's wharf at Sydney on 29th ult. The company's steamer Aldenham had berthed, bring-j ing from the East a relief crew for H.M.S. Torch, and as tlie bluejackets j | steamed off on board the Garden Island tug Ripple to join the Torch, the Chinese crew of ,the Aldenham assembled 'aft' and gave three hearty cheers for the men-o'-warsmen.
