CLUB-SWINGING.
■J NAPIER, December 16. ' Captain T. B. Bax, who set out last 'Wednesday^to ■ attempt' f6 'break the 'world's club-swinging record of 144 ?hours, came to an abrupt end last night. When he had completed 121 hours, one of the clubs struck his knee and flew out of his hand, rendering .the attempt void.
