After the morning service at St. Stephen's Church on Sunday, at which j a parade of Boy Scouts took place, presentations of Scout Testaments were made to Patrol-Leader Wqodb'ury and Bugler Hore, who are leaving the district. The Rev. J. R. Burgin made the presentations, and impressed upon the boys the necessity ■of.keeping in touch with the Scout movement and not to forget what they had already learned. Mr James Stewart, of Wakanui, has pui-chased-a farm in Methven district, arid will shortly be leaving Wakanui, and on Friday evening last he and his wife were entertained at a social evening in the mkin schoolroom. Mr John Cairns presided over a large assemblage of Mr and Mrs .Stewart's friends, and on their behalf presented Mrs Stewarfc with : a handsome sidebo.ar.d T -,„ and:.
