COAL SUPPLY EXHAUASTED

WELLINGTON, December 12. It is stated that the Wellington coalSupply, which for some time has been near vanishing point, is now quite exhausted so far as the general public are concerned. For some weeks retailors have only doled coal out in two or three hundredweight lots. Now they are unable to supply any. The yards are bare and people who must have fires are relying on wood fuel.
