From Juneau, Alaska, it is reported that Captain Sverdrup, Nansen's commander, thinks the story given of the discovery, of a new Arctic Continent is untrue. Nansen drifted over the area and discovered nothing but water. Small islands might have been found, but any extensive area.should long,ago have been discovered.
