New Zeafander's Criticism
SAN FRANCISCO, October 13. ' uVIr D. J. Gumey, a New Zealander, addressing Stanford University students, said that their knowledge of Rugby football was very slight. The American style of forward play was particularly weak, as exemplified in the scrum play in recent games. He also criticised rough tactics. A thousand cheering students greeted .the New Zealanders' arrival at the university.
