MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING.
The Ashbui-ton Miniature Rifle Chib ia at present holding a championship shoot, which will continue until October 2-i. interest is being taken in the competition, for which a gold medal is being given by the Club as first prizo, and Mr W. W. Andrews is giving a silver medal as second prize. Tho following will represent the Ashburton Miniature Riilo Club O. team in a match with the Ashburton Club on \Ynlno"day evening:—AY. Sparrow, W. W. Andrews, F. Burgess. J. E.
Allen, S. Moore, D. Moore, C. Thorby, J. Cochrane, H. Fungo, H. Christensen, G. Solway.
