PARIS, October 13
Alphonse Bertillon, the inventor of the finger-print system of identification, is suffering from anaemia. Dr. Georges Bertillon, his brother, offered an artery for an operation for 45 minutes, and blood transfusion was successfully performed. The brothers are progressing favourably.
