ACCKLAND, November 6. A Hiintley correspondent telegraphs that Messrs Semple, Webb and Marshall addressed a large meeting of miners and their, wives and sympathisers last night,-speaking on general matters. Nothing was dealt with of particular local interest, but certain monopolies deemed inimical to the Federation were very bitterly denounced. Messrs Semple and Webb left for Auckland this morning. ■ The organiser of the new Union, -reports good- progress, and he is- expecting to have one hundred names in a day or two at the present rate of enrolment. ,
