SUICIDE OF THE MURDERER

A shooting tragedy is reported from /Kerang. The bodies oi! Mrs Andrews, wife .of' \ih, dairyman, and her four child-^ ren of ages'ranging from three to nine yeWs, were found in a bedroom with thjeir heads frightfully, battered. The body of Andrews, the husband and' father, was lying in the kitchen shot through the heart.
Andrews was of deeply religious temperament and was a steward of the Methodist Church. He had been suffering from depression, following upon an ,attack of influenza, and had expressed anxiety about monetary .
There are evidences • that he killed his family with an axe and then shot himself. ■ . ■
