SALE OF YEARLINGS.
SYDNEY, April 9. At the yearling sales the following 'prices were realised : Traquair—Arajjoal colt, 700gs; Malster—Chutney | filly, 550gs; Malster—Enangosteen.colt, passed m at 600gs; Malster—Graceton colt, lOOOgs; Malster—Marie Corelli [ filly, passed mat 60Qgs; Malster—Field Rose colt, 530gs ; Malster—Grafton j filly, 700gs. I Mr J. B. Reid, of Elderslie, New Zealand,, bought the Sant Ilario—Ci*yde gelding for 50gs. There was a fair attendance at H. j Thomson's training stables at Riccarton on Tuesday, when Messrs Pyne and | Co. offered a number of vhorses, m training, untried, two-year-olds, yearlings, brood iriares and foals, on aci count of Mr H. Friedlander, who is about to pay a visit to England. Bidding was very slow, and none of the lots changed hands, many of them being passed out of the ring without a bid.
