PANIC AT A CONCERT.
SEVEN LIVES LOST.
(Per Press Association—Copyright.) PARIS, April 9. At a concert of the Women's Patriotic League at Houdain a lamp fell. The blazing oil was readily extinguished, but; there was a wild stampede of women; and children. A narrow staircase was choked, arid half an hour elapsed before it was cleared.. Seven persons were trampled to death, and fifteen were terribly injured.
