AUCKLAND TO BE TERMINUS.'. (Received February 29,, 10.45 a.m.) LONDON, February 28. The Pacific Cable Board': has accepted the tender of the India Rubber and Gutta Percha Telegraph Works Company to construct and lay a cable from -tie neighbourhood of Sydney, probably Bondi, to Auckland,, and also to bring the Norfolk Island cable to Auckland instead'of to Doubtless Bay.. It is expected that both will be completed about Christmas,
