At a meeting of the Farmers' Union a report from a meeting of the Farmers' Political Protection Federation was approA^ed to the effect that after due consideration of the relations between -i the Farmers' Union and the Federation, and seeing'that the combination of the two bodies is causing friction, and may do injury to ■, the> Farmers' Union, it is advisable that the Federation be allowed to withdraw from the Farmers' Union, in order to permit of freer action in the future Operations of both associations.
