They total £27,860,000, an .increase of 170,000, wtiifeh is entirely due. to the growth of atiation^ on which £308,000 is to be .^eiitj as compared ' with .France's £1,280,000. The War Office intends.to establish a joint Arrnjr and Navy aviation school on Salisbury Plain. V - Tlie wholft expeditionary force will shortly, be equipped with pointed bullet ammunition and re-sighted rifles. As no satisfactory automatic rifle has been produced, Ihe War Office is testing a new pattern magazine rifle.
