TRENTHAM, February 29. The second day's footing opened m fine weather and under excellent shoot in* conditions. The teams foi tht Colonial Ammunition Company b i UP, lined up at 9 o'clock. There we c onb two teams, the Opaki, and Karon U Ue Clubs. In the field competition at dis l«of 800 yds .to :600yds, witiv disappearing targets, Karon won after a hard struggle. There was good shoot ing, the winning team scoring I.J n". and Opaki 17. Karon, havm,g *onhe cup three times, is now the I>ei m£ ng holder of the handsomest Association's collection, lho w n g team was captained by Mai*^ f the Opaki by H. R- King.
