BROKEN HILL STRIKE.
; BIOTOUS PROC^BINGS. Proceedings at Broken Hill in connection with the strike are exciting. Batches of strikers paraded;the streets and marched to the different hotels, and made hostile demonstrations. They raided the Commercial Hotel, wrecked the dining-room, invaded the kitchen, ate a quantity of food, and threw the remainder on the floor and strewed pepper. A crowd of over a thousand took possession of the main street. The women and leaders were intoxicated with excitement, and behaved in an extraordinary manner.
