AN EMINENT DOCTOR'S OPINION.
Dr Robert Bell, M.D., F.F.P.S., etc., senior physician to the Glasgow Hospital for diseases peculiar tc women, Vice-President of the British Gynaecological Society, etc., etc., says:— '' Constipation acts very much m "the same manner as the inhalation of sewer gas, and is as much a predisposing cause of disease as the inhalation of a vitiated atmosphere can possibly be. The system is vitiated, and therefore depressed by the absorption of foetid fluids from within. If the bowels are regular and empty themselves completely once daily, that individual will as a rule enjoy good health. All the functions will bo more perfectly performedj the sleep more placid and more refreshing than when constipation is present." Constipation is the greatest enemy to good health. Dr Feflows's A.C. Tablets, 2s 6d per box of 40 doses, are a specific. They do not purge like pills. They strengthen the intestines and make them do their work regularly and effectually. They are a grand tonic. Obtainable from chemists and grocers, or post free from A. M. Loasby, the Only Proscribing Chemist, 679 Colombo Street, Christchurch. 6 155
