CHRISTCHURCH, December 27. The Plunket Shield match was resumed at 11.40 a.m. m dull but warm weather. A gusty east wind blew across the wicket, which was playing •much better than • yesterday. Lusk and Carlton carried the score to 87, when the former was taken m the slips off Eckhoff. Reese joined Carlton, and cautious play followed to the adjournment, when the score was 142 for 5 wickets.
