CHRISTCHURCH, December 8,,; The Labour Representation Committee met to-day, and discussed the question of selecting candidates for the second ballots in Avon, Riccarton, and &hristcliureh East. Considerable discussion took place,' and ultimately it was decided that the Labour party should .take no action regarding the second ballots in .any of these electorates. It was decided to initiate a strenuous throe years* campaign on behalf of Labour in conjunction with the. object of capturing the Government of the Dominion three years hence. It is unofficially understood that Labour will support Mr Ensor for Riccarton and Mr McCombs for Avon. '
