Presbyterian Congregational Meeting. There was a good attendance at the annual meeting of the members of the Hinds Presbyterian Church on Thursday evening, when the Rev. J. A. Brown (Moderator) occupied the chair. After the opening exercise^, the bal-ance-sheet, which showed a credit balance, was read and adopted: Mr R. S. Wilson (Home Missionary) read hi© annual report, which" dealt with increased attendances at services, enthusiasm at Bible Study Classes, and improvements in Sunday Schools. The Rev. A. Bruce Todd,' : of Geraldine, had preached to a full church .on the occasion of its second anniversary, and a very successful tea meeting had also been held in the Hall. The following officers' were elected: Treasurer, Mr A. Moore;, secretary, Mr A. Morris; committee, Messrs Holland, R. Moore, W. Davison, J. D. Paterson, W. J. S. McDowell, T. B. Gibbs-(re-elected), A. Loyett,:D. Paterson, and J. McDowell. After the customary; votes of thanks, the following programme was carried out:—Songs, Misses Kent and Rogers, Mrs Grainger, Messrs. Gibbs and Edis; recitation,-Mr Watsoni A ''sumptuous- supper was then handed round by the ladies, and thoroughly enjoyed.
