OHRISTOHURCH, May 23. Mr Leonard M. Isitt is suing Mr James M. Stewart in the Supreme Court for £1000 damages for libel, arising out of the publication of the plaintiff's name in the "black list" of the Traders' Protection Association. Mr Isitt, who was formerly a Methodist' minister, and is well known as a prohibition lecturer, is now in business in Ohriflt«lu-;--.h as a bookseller. The account for which lie was listed was a chemist's bill for 6s, which he said had been overlooked, and which he had -never been asked to pay.
