Scotch Whisky.

The trade in Scotch whisky for the current year has been the worst in the trade's history. The production has decreased by over 2,000,000 gallons, and amounts to only 22,UuU,000 gallons, the lowest for sixteen years. Stocks carried forward into the Now Year will be 115,000,000 gallons, being an increase of 1,700,000 gallons ,which is the first increase for many years. Several distillers are not commencing tho new make, as a reduction is now assured early next year.
