Sir Thomas Shauglraessy, president of the Canadian-Pacific Railway, has arrived m England to extend emigration to the Cariadian-Pacifio lands. The company proposes to build a house, to fence holdings, to break up and sow the ■ soil ready for immigrants, so as to enable anyone with £100 of capital to start on his own account.
