SPRINGFIELD CLEARING SALE.
The final dispersal sale on the Springfield estate, consequent on the sale by the National Mortgage and Agency Go to Mr Thomas Dow.hng of the balance of the late Dwican Cameron's famous holding, took place yesterday. The auctioneers were the National Mortgaga and' Agency Co., Messrs Friedlahder Bros., Ltd., and Messrs Pyhe and Co. There was a very large attendance, buyers gathering from all over the county and province. The rain of the morning had evidently put farmers, ill good heart, for bidding was very spirited and ever? lino Was keenly competed for, exceptionally good prices being, the result.
