ILL-BEHAVED SCHOOL CHIL-

DREN.

To the Editor

Sir, —"One Who Knows," in tonight's paper, says "the children from the Hinds school are said to have behaved very badly on the excursion train to Timaru." This is absolutely untrue, as the conduct of tho Hinds children was exemplary, and the supervision perfect. When the train arrived at Hinds there were three or four boys

in a carriage who did insult everyone who passed "through, Hinds people included. But "One Who Knows" ought to make quite sure before he blames the wrong children.
