CRICKET.
3?er Press Association—Copyright. Received December 14, 10.45 a.m. MELBOURNE, December 14. The New. South Wales Cricket Association wrote to ■ the Melbourne Association, taking exception to J. N. Crawford, the Surrey cricketer, being allowed to play for South Australia until he had resided there for three months, and pointing out that, under the agreement between the States taking part in the Sheffield Shield matches, three months' residence was necessary before any cricketer could play for any State. The Victorian Association decided that, as it had no agreement with South Australia on the subject, it had no objection to Crawford playing.
