CANTERBURY FROZEN MEAT AND DAIRY PRODUCE CO., LTD. The following is the directors' annual report to be submitted at the annual meeting to be held in Christchurch oa December 20: "The directors have pleasure in presenting to the shareholders the balance-sheet, and profit and loss statement for the year ended 30th November last. The net profit for the year is £17,499 9s 6d, and this sum, after adding the amount carried forward from last year, deducting the interim dividend paid, writing £3500 off the works account and adding £3000 to reserve fund account, leaves £6408 9s 9d. This sum-the directors propose should be dealt with as follows: To payment of a further 3 per cent, on the preference and ordinary shares (making 6 per cent, for the year), £5511 16s 6d ; to carry forward, £894 13s 3d total, £6406 9s 9d. The quantities of stock dealt with at the company's works were : At Belfast, 406,261 head ; at Fairfield, 256,023 head ; at Pareora, 247,984 head ; total, 910,268, being an increase of 87,463 on the previous year's figures."
