PATERNITY CASE.

OARTERTON, December 11. In the Magistrate's Court, Joseph Stone, a young man, was sentenced to a month's hard labour for failing to comri- -witli an order of the Court to pay for the maintenance of his illegitimate child. The Magistrate commented upon the case strongly, as the girl has since gone out of her mind and is confined in an asylum. The child was committed to an industrial school.
